NDIS SHORT TERM RESPITE
We provide Short Term Respite ✓ Gold Coast ✓ Brisbane ✓ Melbourne ✓ Sydney ✓ Adelaide & Regional Areas Australia Wide, billed as: STA & Assistance (Inc. Respite). The NDIS refers to this as Short Term Respite or STR. We offer Individual Accommodation not shared with other NDIS Participants. Serviced Apartments including Supports & Accommodation. We provide 1:1 Support with carefully matched Support Workers. Accommodation has full facilities related to participant goals, disabled access & personal care. Participants can bring their own Support Worker if they feel more comfortable with this format.

Our approach includes mapping capabilities, ensuring growth & progress at a comfortable pace. We promote connectivity through Community based activities whilst celebrating the participant’s individuality & Support Needs. Our Support Workers bring together extensive coaching & strong disability sector expertise, providing care that is both compassionate & skilled.
Participants have the Choice & Control of how they use their Short Term Respite (STR) funding within NDIS guidelines. Support Coordinators can allocate Core Supports funding for STA & Assistance (Inc. Respite) 1:1 if this is appropriate to achieve NDIS Plan goals. Short Term Respite is designed to the give primary care givers a break or when informal or formal supports are not available or simply when supports need a break.
We provide NDIS Funded Accommodation & Supports.
As per New NDIS Guidelines for Short Term Respite (STR) 1:1 in an Individual Setting there is No Meal or Activity Allowance, No Allowance for Day-to-Day living expenses, such as Food, Groceries or Lifestyle Costs & No Provider Transport to & from the STA location.
We satisfy the requirements of: Value for Money, Aligning with participant NDIS Plan Goals, Providing a Break for the Participants Informal Supports, as well as Building Independence, Skills & Experiences.
Short Term Respite should not be referred to as a holiday as this is not the case when these requirements are met.

Quest Apartment Hotels are serviced apartment accommodations designed to provide a home away from home for both short and long stays. Spacious apartments with separate living, dining & sleeping areas, along with self-contained amenities such as fully equipped kitchens & in-room laundries. Accessible apartments with rails in the shower & toilet are also readily available. Guests benefit from hotel-style services including housekeeping, reception & room service. Many locations include gyms, pools, parking, BBQ areas, & meeting rooms, plus added conveniences like grocery delivery, combining the independence of apartment living in a Hotel atmosphere.
